Rotary Africa Night fundraiser this Saturday

Tickets are still available for the Africa Night fundraiser on Saturday, October 29.
The Africa Night is being sponsored by the Melfort Rotary Club and the proceeds from the event are going to Shelterbox for east African relief.
"We have a group coming out from Regina. They're going to put on a drumming presentation and dancing and fashion show," said Wayne Claggett with the Melfort Rotary Club.
Cocktails begin at 6 p.m. and a dinner consisting of African cuisine will be served at 6:30 p.m. The entertainment is set to take the stage at 7:30 p.m.
"The tickets are $40. Half of it is to pay for the evening and the other half, $20, will be tax deductible donation which will be going to east Africa. It's kind of a follow up from our Shelterboxes that we had from last summer," said Claggett.
Tickets are available at the Melfort and District Museum, Floors and More and most Rotary members.
The fundraiser is being held in the CJVR Performing Arts Theatre at the Kerry Vickar Centre.
